Starting in 2007, Rosenblum began an exciting collaboration with choreographer Chase Brock, and the Chase Brock Experience. Two ballets have resulted from their joint efforts: Mission: Implausible, a dance piece based on Rosenblum’s Cut to the Chase, and After Dark, based on the instrumental piece Who Knows? Maybe. Mission: Implausible had its premiere in April, 2008, as part of CBE’s spring season at Joyce Soho, and quickly became an audience favorite. It was revived in April, 2009, and performed in repertory with After Dark, which had its world premiere as part of the same season.
Rosenblum and Brock have plans for additional collaborations in future seasons, including a full-length work to comprise half a program.
Other compositions include:
I Love Thee,
If You But Knew,and
Mediocrity in Love Rejectedrecorded by Peter Büchi on his CD, Tenor Torch Songs.
Give Thanksrecorded by Peter Büchi and Rebecca Luker on the CD Peter Büchi: An American Voice.
